Custom Home Bars
Most home bars start as one cabinet with a few bottles on top. Then the good glasses arrive, a fridge lands on the floor because there is nowhere to build it in, and within a year it is a counter you cannot pour a drink on.
A bar is mostly a storage problem.
People think a home bar is about how it looks. It is really about fitting a lot of awkward things into a small footprint. Bottles are tall and heavy. Good glassware is fragile and takes up far more room than anyone plans for. Then the ice, the tools, the napkins, the opener that is never where you left it.
So we start by asking what you drink. A collector with forty bottles of whiskey and a household laying in cases for dinner parties need almost nothing in common from a bar. We do not hand them the same layout.

Back-bar shelving
The open shelves behind the counter, spaced for how tall your bottles actually are so nothing has to lie down. Everyday pours sit low. The good stuff sits high where it can be seen.
Bottle & wine storage
Wine lies on its side in angled racks the way it should. Spirits get deep vertical bays, so a full bottle tucks all the way in instead of hanging past the edge.
Glass storage
Stemware hangs upside down under the shelf. Everything else gets its own cubby. Glasses do not get stacked here, because stacked glasses are broken glasses eventually.
Fridge surrounds
You choose the beverage fridge or wine cooler. We build the cabinet around it to the exact size, with the air gap the maker asks for so it does not cook itself.

The basement bar
The most common one we do. Low ceiling, a duct through the corner, a post right where the counter wants to go. We measure what is there and build to it.
Whiskey collectors
A growing collection wants deep bays and shelving you can see, not a cabinet that hides half of it behind a door.
Wine conneseurs
Angled racking sized for standard bottles, so a case goes straight onto the rack instead of onto the counter.
Hosts with the most
When the tools, the glasses, and a real serving counter all have a place, setting up for company takes a minute.
Bars off the rec room
Run the counter at kitchen height and it shares a wall cleanly with the TV or the pool table.
Under the stairs
The angled ceiling most people write off is usable space. We build the bar into the shape instead of around it.

Bars are better wet. We can design and coordinate your new home bar to feature a simple single faucet or a full drink washing station, all fully customized and build to help you host countless flawless cocktail parties.
What finishes are available?

What are your closets and cabinets made of?
High-quality thermally fused melamine — hard, non-porous, easy to clean, and stable in dry Colorado air, where cheaper boards swell or peel. Cabinet boxes are built on plywood. The finish holds up for decades.

We have a small showroom at our production facility in Durango at 190 Turner Drive Units B & H,

How long does a home bar install take?
Installation for your new home bar depends on how custom it is. Single cabinet? Done in a day. Wraparound home english pub with built-in billiards rack and dartboard stall? That’ll take a little longer. Call us to book a free consultation and we can narrow it down for you.
What does the first step look like?
A designer comes to the house, measures, and talks through what is not working. You see the design before anything is built.
Can you build a bar in a basement or under the stairs?
Those are two of the most common places we put one. A low ceiling or an angled wall is a design question, not a dealbreaker. We build to the real footprint, ductwork and posts included.
