The gear that moves through a Colorado entry is not the gear anyone else designs for. Skis and poles in winter. Bikes and packs in summer. Waders, helmets, snowsuits, the occasional kayak paddle. It’s heavy, it’s wet half the year, and it needs to disappear the moment it is inside.
We have been designing mudrooms for Colorado homes since 2008, so we know what a loaded ski jacket weighs on a hook and how much room a pair of boots really takes. We’ll handle the design, and the build, and the install – all we need is your vision.

Storage bench
A bench at the right height to sit and pull boots off, with room underneath for the boots themselves or a run of drawers.
Cubbies
One per person. Yours holds your things, which is the whole trick to an entry that stays clear. We size them to what goes in, wider for packs and gear.
Hooks
Rated for a wet jacket, not a scarf. Set into the back panel at heights that work for the tallest and shortest people in the house.
Boot storage
Open bays sized for ski and hiking boots, with a tray underneath to catch the melt so it does not end up on the floor.

Can you work with a small entryway?
Most of what we build sits in a normal entry or a stretch of hallway. Six feet of wall done properly beats a walk-in space done badly. We use the height and we build to the exact run.
Do you serve Telluride, Pagosa Springs, and Ouray?
Yes. We travel throughout Southwest Colorado for consultations and installations — Telluride, Pagosa Springs, Ouray, Cortez, Silverton, Bayfield, Farmington, and the surrounding communities.
What are your closets and cabinets made of?
High-quality thermally fused melamine — hard, non-porous, easy to clean, and stable in dry Colorado air, where cheaper boards swell or peel. Cabinet boxes are built on plywood. The finish holds up for decades.
How long does it take to install a custom mudroom?
It usually takes us a day to install your new custom mudroom or entryway storage; up to three for a full wall. It all depends on your vision and storage needs.
Do you supply the boot-drying tray and hooks?
We build fully custom solutions for your unique needs and will either source the features you need or work with an outside vendor to make sure you have the right storage for you and your family. In the past we’ve also mounted Gravity Grabbers, specialty drying equipment, and sport-specific locker configurations.
Do you have a showroom?
We have a small showroom at our production facility in Durango at 190 Turner Drive Units B & H,
Durango. We come to you for your design consultation, but if you’re interested in seeing where the magic happens, or if you just want to get an in-person look at some of our beautiful finish and accessories here in-store, we’d love to show you around.What finishes are available?

What does the first step look like?
A designer comes to the house, measures, and talks through what is not working. You see the design before anything is built.
